Our Food

Whether it’s breakfast, lunch or dinner - camp meals are a time of sharing, fellowship and reflection. Our menus consist of equal parts of Belizean and American favorites. Local dishes such as stewed chicken, rice and beans, fried plantains, journey cakes, fried jacks and tacos are always a hit. American staples like spaghetti with garlic bread, bacon and eggs and barbeque chicken are served, as well. Oh, and coffee and hot tea are available around the clock.

Our Dining Room.

Our meals are served buffet style from the main dining room. We can accommodate sixty people comfortably and up to seventy with extra seating. This space also has air conditioning available. After most meals, teams may choose to remain here for meetings or devotions.

We have two kitchens.

Camalote Camp offers meals prepared by our camp cooks. We do have a few options which allow teams to cook for themselves:

  1. Teams staying in the Camalote House have access to our small but complete kitchen.

  2. With an entire camp rental, access is provided to both the main kitchen and the smaller kitchen in the Camalote House.

If you need more details on renting the entire camp or discussing dining/food options, feel free to contact us by using form below. We usually respond within 24 hrs.
